🏭 Method 1: Professional Heat Press
-
Set Machine Parameters: Set heat press to 140°C – 145°C with High pressure.
-
Pre-press Jersey: Press shirt for 3 seconds with a Teflon sheet.
-
Position Woven Patch: Align thin flat woven patch on target area.
-
Step 1 — Front Press (10 Seconds): Cover with a Teflon sheet and press for 10 seconds.
-
Step 2 — Inside-Out Main Bond (20 Seconds): Flip jersey inside out, cover with Teflon sheet, and press under high pressure for 20 seconds.
-
Cool Down: Let garment lie flat until completely cold.
🏠 Method 2: Household Iron
-
Iron & Surface Prep: Set iron to Polyester (~140°C). Steam OFF. Work on a wooden tabletop.
-
Pre-iron Area: Iron target area for 3 seconds.
-
Position & Cover: Place patch and cover with parchment paper.
-
Step 1 — Front Press (15 Seconds): Press vertically down with heavy force for 15 seconds.
-
Step 2 — Inside-Out Press (25–30 Seconds): Flip shirt inside out, cover back of patch with parchment paper, and apply full body weight for 30 seconds.
-
Set Under Weight: Place a heavy book over patch area for 5 minutes.
💡 Pro Tip: Woven patches are thinner and flatter than embroidered patches, allowing cleaner edge adhesion. Inside-out pressing ensures hot-melt glue saturates both the woven backing and the football shirt.
